We wanted this story to convey the dignity of life, and the authentic and tender care that HCA provides to its beneficiaries. The story places the audience in the perspective of the beneficiary (Mr Cheng), and this was facilitated in the opening through intricate sound design, graceful pacing and the framing of simple every day objects we often take for granted.
St. Joseph's Church (Victoria Street) Restoration Appeal
Fund Raising and Volunteer Video
Set to the music of Dvořák's New World Symphony, (overdubbed with actual recordings of our featured musicians) we invited the audience to "touch and feel" the dusty and aged church in the middle of its restoration. With Roger Deakins inspired cinematography, we introduced hope and promise through crafted light, and the "coming together" of musicians as a string quartet that parallels the invitation for volunteers and contributions from young and old to help re-write a new chapter in the Church's history.
