Product Design

Aesthetics, functionality and practicality.

Our approach to product design is based on our design thinking process, which begins with empathy for the needs and challenges of our clients and their users.

We believe in the power of collaborative problem-solving, where creativity and practicality converge to find innovative solutions. Our method is grounded in real-world insights, ensuring our designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functionally effective and user-centric.

A Global Transport Solutions Provider - Fare Validator

Three views of a modern lime green and black electric vehicle charging station on a dark background.

A global transport solutions provider engaged us to design a slim form factor, fare/bus/ticket validator with adaptable use in buses, bus/train stops and fare gates.

Because of the diverse needs of various transport operators, the device had to support (and distinguish between) a variety of payment modes (mobile, card and QR codes). This was addressed with a combination of physical design, material shielding, and user experience design.

Working in collaboration with their engineering, operations and business development team, we delivered an adaptable design with customisable aesthetics (colours) in a form factor that supported multi-use deployment, and easy maintenance.

Certis - Concierge Kiosk Design

PixelMusica Product UX UI Agency - Kiosk Design - Certis Group

Certis is leading advanced integrated security, facilities management, and services agency in Singapore with over SGD 1.5B of annual revenue.

PixelMusica was engaged to design the next generation of multi-role kiosks that could be deployed in a variety of operational environments, capable of integrating the latest biometric (face & iris) capture technology, an intuitive user interface and easy access for maintenance, and rapid deployment.

Among the many challenges we solved is the facilitation of cameras to operate under diverse & rapidly changing lighting conditions (e.g. office lobbies at sunrise / sunset conditions).

Working closely with Certis engineers, we brought our experience in photography and videography, to incorporate elements of light control into the kiosk.
